The international organization wishes to recognize academic excellence among students with disabilities on college campuses across the nation. Due to the stigma associated with disabilities, this organization also seeks to empower these students to advocate for themselves and others and serve as mentors.
CSD REACHing Peers is a three-fold peer mentoring program that consists of Opportunities for prospective students to connect with current UConn CSD students, Mentor-Mentee relationships amongst current UConn students registered with the Center for Students with Disabilities, and Linking current UConn students with a network of CSD alumni for career preparation
