Communication Disorders

Communication Disorders include any impairment in speech, language, or communication.
These disorders can affect verbal and nonverbal behavior, sound articulation, and the use of written/spoken, or sign language. Examples of communication disorders include the following diagnoses: Language Disorder (difficulties in expressive/receptive language), Childhood-Onset Fluency Disorder (Stuttering), Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder (difficulties in verbal and nonverbal communication in a social setting).
